da fezbet: Everton fans have been reacting on Twitter after Jon Moss was appointed as the referee for their FA Cup third-round clash against arch-rivals Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
da bet sport: It will be the first time the 49-year-old has been in the middle of the pitch for a Merseyside derby, but it’s fair to say that Toffees supporters aren’t impressed with him taking charge against Jurgen Klopp’s men as they bid to reach the fourth round.
As per WhoScored, Moss has only taken charge of one Everton match so far in 2019/20, which was their opening day Premier League trip to Crystal Palace – a game that ended 0-0.
They didn’t end the encounter with 11 players on the field though following a second yellow card for Morgan Schneiderlin, and perhaps this is one of the moments jogging their memory.

Many certainly aren’t happy with the update ahead of the clash against their high-flying enemies, with words and phrases such as “horrendous”, “game over” and “we’re doomed” just some of the responses to the news.
Not everyone decided to focus solely on Moss though, with others citing the controversial VAR system for their complaints.
Liverpool have certainly benefitted from it in recent games, with two decisions going in their favour in their win against Wolves.
Another doesn’t believe that Moss reffing the big game will make any difference though, as whoever the match official was would be biased towards Liverpool – an interesting theory, indeed.
