da aposte e ganhe: Leeds fans are once again furious with Paul Heckingbottom after the manager said he was disappointed by the way Barnsley treated his departure.
da bet nacional: Heckingbottom swapped Oakwell for Elland Road in February, just a week after agreeing a new contract with Barnsley.
The contract included a £500,000 release clause, which was what allowed Leeds to swoop in and steal the 40 year-old, but Barnsley publicly expressed their disapproval at the move as they insisted they had “worked tirelessly” to secure his January transfer targets.
Of course, Heckingbottom might not be around to have a crack at the transfer window with Leeds if they lose to his former club this weekend, and the boss said he was disappointed by the club’s behaviour.
“I didn’t speak about it too much then and I’m not going to speak about it too much now but it was bang out of order some of the things they said,” Heckingbottom said.

“They know that but they just wanted to save face I suppose.
“It upset me. Usually I don’t pay attention to social media or what’s written, things like that, but it affects your family in a negative way.
“You get trouble caused by people trying to protect themselves and not being big enough or brave enough to just admit what’s gone on. That was disappointing but it doesn’t bother me now.”
Heckingbottom has managed just two wins since his move to Elland Road, and fans were annoyed yesterday by his comments on the squad and impending transfer window.
Fans are understandably getting fed up of the man in charge, and some of the best Twitter reactions can be found below…
